In this article, we are going to cover a few questions you should ask yourself before writing an ebook. It is going to be a quick, helpful overview for those of you who had written an ebook before that didn’t do so well. For those of you who have written an ebook but did not like it, anything along those lines.

If you are thinking of writing an ebook for the very first time, there are a few things to think about. That is why I decided to write about this. I wanted to help you and give you a couple of ideas to keep in mind when writing an ebook.

So here we go. What is the overall goal of your ebook? You need to think about why you are writing this ebook in the first place. Are you trying to establish yourself as an expert? Are you trying to sell to a specific, targeted audience? Is it about your expertise in a particular subject? Are you trying to build your email list?

Are you going to use this ebook as a giveaway, promotion, or bonus product? Or, are you just trying to sell as many of these ebooks as you possibly can? Are you trying to make as much money as possible off of this ebook? All of these questions have to be considered when wanting to write an ebook.

Now you have to ask yourself who your targeted audience is. Who are you trying to reach with your content? You have to be as specific as possible with this step, perhaps being able to narrow it down to a single individual if you can. Get a picture of that person in your mind, the perfect customer for this book.

Are you writing this book for stay-at-home parents who want to make a living on the internet? Are you writing this for newbie internet marketers? Or, maybe, for offline business owners? The point of all these questions is simple: Be specific in your ebook.

You can not write one ebook to cover everything. Think about it, would you benefit from a specific, short, and detailed ebook? Or, a vague and unclear ebook? Revise the questions in this article. Always keep in mind that a sniper does not use a shotgun. You need a sniper Ebook.
