I am confident in saying that most of probably know what Skype is and what it is used for. What many of you might not be, though, is that there are two versions of Skype. The first is the regular consumer version, you know, the regular Skype you use to keep in touch with grandma and other family and friends. The second is a feature rich, business application from Skype. It is called Skype for business.

Skype for business is relatively easy to use and is even more comfortable if you are used to the regular version. But it includes cool features like being able to update your team on the days’ events. You can update your status to display what you are currently busy with at the time.

It is things like these that make Skype for business a versatile tool to have at your disposal. Nothing is better than a team working smoothly in a controlled environment. Years ago, these kinds of resources were not available. And in a few years, better software might make it easier to market to different people.

You have to ask yourself whether or not you are keeping up to speed with all the new systems and technology. The world of marketing is ever-changing, and those who do not keep up get left behind.

There are several excellent and detailed courses on how to set up Skype for Business on the internet. I would suggest trying to learn it for your self with minimal help. It is always, especially in business, is beneficial to educate yourself. Stay on top of your game.

Enough of the motivational stuff. Skype for business is one of the worlds most successful business tools. Like every other social media platform out there, it takes advantage of the need for companies to advertise their products and services.

The last thing I would suggest doing is getting someone to guide you along your business journey and have them show you the ins and outs.

Skype for business is excellent. But let’s not overlook the actual platform, you know, the one for calling grandma. You can use Skype to stay in touch with customers and clients. Communication is the most crucial aspect of any relationship.

Whether it be personal or business, it is always good to stay in touch. I am rambling now; the point is this: Use the tools there are. Do not try and beat the system, if it works, use it!
